Why our sachets are the best
The move comes as we’d been selling Iron & Velvet’s own wonderful cleaning products for while now. They’d been really popular with our customers and it’s easy to see why; they’re totally plastic-free, are made with natural ingredients, come in minimal and recyclable packaging and as an added bonus, they smell amazing!
But we had some feedback from some people saying ‘yes, they look amazing! But I’m a bit confused about how they work, so I’m not sure if they’re the right move for me’. At EcoVibe, we know that sustainable living isn’t always easy, and we really want to help you - and the planet - on your journey in any way that we can.
So, we’ve teamed up with the makers Iron & Velvet to improve the (already fantastic!) Plastic-Free Cleaning Sachets. We’ve made the sachets brighter so they’re easier to identify and the instructions clearer so that it’s simpler to use.
Why you should swap
Our concentrated water-soluble Cleaning Sachets work as a replacement for bottles of cleaning products. All you need to do is drop the sachet into an empty container of your choice (reuse any old containers like jars, wine bottles or plastic water bottles if you can!) and fill with water. Replace the cap and shake to activate the ingredients, then clean as normal!
With 29 BILLION plastic containers generated by the homecare industry alone each year and only 9% of plastic being recycled, almost all will end up overflowing from our landfills and polluting our oceans. By swapping to our Cleaning Sachets, you can help reduce some of that waste.
On top of that, these Cleaning Sachets have a much lower carbon footprint. Most cleaning products are made from at least 70% of water which has to be transported and a lot of this from outside the UK. These concentrated sachets only contain a tiny amount of liquid, plus they are made in the UK, reducing the carbon footprint by a huge 94%.
