Why we love it
These gorgeous beeswax wraps are 100% natural and will keep your children's food fresh! The combination of natural ingredients with organic cotton fabric allows these wraps to breathe, making sure your bread stays fresh for longer. They're super clingy - in a good way! The pine resin in these wraps provides a natural adhesive making sure your food's sealed tight, and the warmth from your hands helps to mould the wraps, giving a strong seal. And they really do stay sticky even after you've used and washed them over and over again. In fact, they can last for up to a year when looked after properly.
These bread wraps are handmade in Cambridge, UK, meaning they only have a minimal carbon footprint compared to traditional mass-produced cling films. All the beeswax is sourced from the UK, most of it from within a 30-mile radius of the workshop.
These wraps are a fab, planet-friendly and genuinely guilt-free alternative to disposable clingfilm and tinfoil, that's great for the environment. You'll find that when wrapped in beeswax wraps your sandwiches won't get as sweaty when you unwrap them at lunchtime, saving the planet and your money.
Rather than using cling film or foil that you'll throw away after one use, these reusable food wraps can simply be washed in cold water with a little bit of soap and they're ready to roll again. After 2-3 months, just refresh them with an iron, an oven or one of our Refresher Blocks and they'll be as good as new! These wraps can last up to a year when looked after properly, but once you've finally used your wrap to the max you can just pop it in your compost or twist up and use as a firelighter.
