Why we love them
These reusable beeswax food wraps are a fantastic way to keep sandwiches, herbs and certain vegetables fresh. Completely breathable, plastic-free and reusable the Abeego wrap is your perfect companion at lunchtime. With proper care the wraps will last up to a year, just hand wash them in cold soapy water and enjoy a great, completely plastic-free alternative to harmful cling-film. They are also compostable, so no more waste for the landfill!
Like other non-recyclables, plastic food wrap ends up on landfill at best, and as litter on land and in the sea at worst. On the landfill, it will leach its chemicals into the environment for years, not breaking down, and elsewhere it will do the same, whilst also being a risk to wildlife or fish who may get caught up in it or eat it.
