Why we love this
This all-natural, UK made Dish Washing Soap Bar is tough on grease and baked-on food, but gentle on the environment. It's perfect for cleaning dishes without the need for harsh chemicals. It's also completely plastic-free, palm oil-free and vegan. Its hypoallergenic formula means it's suitable for sensitive skin too.
Traditional dishwashing products can contain a whole host of toxic ingredients. Not only are these damaging to our waterways, but they're also abrasive on the skin too and can aggravate skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.
How to use the bar
- Work the Dish Soap into hot water by rubbing directly onto a loofah, brush or cloth under running water and into the sink.
- Use the loofah, brush or cloth to clean your pots in the soapy water, applying more soap when needed.
Sodium Cocoate (Coconut Oil Soap), Lemon Oil, Citric Acid

Lathers up brilliantly and I love the idea of plastic free washing up but, everything is covered in a residue which is very difficult to remove. Unfortunately you can smell and taste it when drinking from cups and glasses washed wash it
It's a great idea but I don't recommend and will be looking for another alternative.
This dish soap has genuinely surprised me! It only took a little scrub with my compostable sponge and it was full of lather. It cleaned very greasy pans much better then top brands liquid dish soaps.
I normally don’t write reviews, but this product really deserves it.
Will definitely buy it again and I’m already recommending it to friends and family.
I have repurchased this soap many times and I love it BUT please be careful if you have a wooden kitchen work top (I do) as it will stain the wood quite badly (makes the wood darker) if you get any splashes of this soap onto wood. I had to sand the wood kitchen worktop down and revarnish as the stains are permanent BUT I still love the soap for cleaning my dishes just ensure you use only in sink and keep it away from wood. Product would get a 5 star if it was not for the staining effect but I still really recommend it!
I am keen to reduce plastic waste but this stuff does not seem to get the job done. It leaves an oily film on everything. I feel like I have to wash everything twice to get things properly grease free.
Have been looking to make the switch to a bar-based washing up soap for a while now. Saw this and gave it a try. Combined with the wooden dish brush it does a pretty good job at cleaning pots, plates etc.
The downside is it leaves an oily residue on everything, even if you rinse it off after washing. This subsequently wipes right off when the object dries but is a little frustrating and is causing us to use more water. Obvious if the options are using a bit more water vs buying a plastic bottle regularly then a bit more water wins.
As this is my first experience with such a product i will likely try a different brand next time for comparison.
Summary - good at cleaning and for the environment but 3 stars because of the frustrating residue it leaves on pots, plates, sink etc.
