Why we love them

These eco-friendly cat litter tray liners are the perfect plastic-free swap. They contain no traditional petrochemical plastic, just eco-friendly bioplastic made from 100% vegetable matter. They are completely plastic-free, leak-proof and are made from 100% organic materials. Because they are made from natural materials they can breakdown to nothing, no microplastics left behind. You can even compost them if you have a home compost bin - just make sure to get rid of the cat waste separately first.

Most cat litter liners are made from toxic plastic and will just breakdown into microplastics. These eco-friendly, biodegradable cat litter liners are produced from responsibly farmed, renewable, vegetal resources and are certified fully compostable to EN13432. They are both home and industrially compostable. As proof, they carry the OK compost (Home) and seedling logo 7P2018.

Liner dimensions: 56 x 44 x 31cm

Why swap

Cleaning the cat waste out of the litter tray constantly can lead to a lot of plastic waste, but by swapping to our plant-based litter tray liners you will be saving tonnes of plastic bags breaking down into micro-plastics and harming the environment.

These bags are suitable for home composting but animal feces should not be put in compost that will be used on edible plants, only non-edible.

Even if the bags are sent to landfill, they will break down in the same way as any other plant material. If the bags are incinerated, they will leave no trace behind, unlike plastic bags which release toxic chemicals into the atmosphere.

Approved to be used for the council's food waste collection in the UK.

Work well and no plastic

I hate how many plastic liners I go through normally. I am happy I found these as an alternative they are much stronger than the flimsy plastic ones, and I don't mind they don't have a tie on them they are easy enough to gather up and dispose of. I am a convert!

Not a fan

I really had hope for better as the picture is a little deceiving. When it comes to actually tying up the bag to remove it is a nightmare. It needs to have ties somehow added so when you tried to do it you don't have to tie it 3 or 4 times in different areas to move it. There also needs to be larger sizes as I'd hoped this would fit my boys tray and it just falls short so he has a habit of knocking the edges down...also unpleasant to deal with. Its a great idea in theory and yes it doesn't technically leak and doesn't break which is great, and yay to the eco system, but for the cost and practical use it just needs a few design alterations and it'll be perfect

Just what I've been looking for

A large proportion of my non-recyclable waste is from my cats. I started looking for biodegradable cat litter tray liners over a year ago, and these are the first I found. They are just as strong as the plastic liners on offer and I think they're good value. I have an XL litter tray for 2 cats and these liners still fit, I just masking tape the sides to make sure the cats don't pull down the sides.

Much better than plastic ones!

I bought these to try and cut down on plastic liners because it just seems so bad to throw away that much! These are much stronger than those flimsy plastic ones and great that I won't be putting plastic in the bin! I don't have a compost heap but I still feel like this is better than throwing plastic sheets out cos not even recyclable! My cat is happy and so am I will buy them again for sure.
