Say hi to our team!

Get to know the talented EcoVibe Team! Though we're all very different we have one shared interest: making the world a cleaner, greener place!  Read our profiles below to get to know us a little bit...

ANYA | DESIGN LEAD

What's something you do for the environment?

I cut down massively on meat so I only eat it now and then, I have also cut down on my dairy intake but not as much as meat unfortunately - I have also started growing a few bits of herbs and veg at home and buy most of it from the market so its not wrapped in as much plastic.

What's your favourite eco-swap?

My fave eco-swaps are the biodegradable cotton buds - because you really do not need them to be plastic so unnecessary and the reusable makeup remover pads they have helped me change my skincare routine which has improved my skin and means i am not throwing away useless and harmful face wipes!

What's your top eco tip?

My top eco tip would be to just do a little bit at a time - I am awful with money ha and with eco products costing a little more it does take a bit to change over. But its not about being perfect straight away I am still a way off that! But now I have more eco products and it feels really good and they are usually better in my experience so well worth it 🙂

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

I really enjoy listening to rave or funk music (not both at same time) and dancing around in my house with my cat Henry - I live alone so I get away with not annoying anyone I guess - my neighbours might not agree!

BECKY | MARKETING MANAGER

What's something you do for the environment?

I went vegan about four years ago to reduce my carbon footprint (and for the animals too!). I compost as much as possible and even recently got a wormery, which to be honest is a mixed success at the moment!

What's your favourite eco-swap?

My favourite eco-swap is the soluble laundry strips, they're so handy! I love how they remove the need to measure detergent (which I always spill!), plus they reduce carbon and plastic - amazing all round!

What's your top eco tip?

My top eco suggestion is give composting a go if you can. It not only reduces your household waste from going to landfill, your plants will absolutely love the compost!

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

I'm currently doing a degree part-time alongside work so that's keeping me pretty busy as the moment. When I'm not studying or working I love being outdoors and any type of sport! There's nothing I love more than going for a hike with my dog and exploring the gorgeous Yorkshire countryside.

ELISE | DIGITAL MARKETING EXEC.

What's something you do for the environment?

I grow my own herbs, fruits and veggies to reduce my carbon footprint and plastic use.

What's your favourite eco-swap?

My favourite eco-swap is the menstrual cup! With most period products containing nasty chemicals including bleach(!) and wrapped in plastic, swapping to the cup gives me more control over what goes into my body and reduce my impact on the planet.

What's your top eco tip?

My top eco tip is to try to reduce what you buy in the first place. Looking for new outfit for a special event? Ask your friends if they fancy a clothes swap. Want to make the switch for an eco product? Think about if you can make your own from what you already have first.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

In my spare time I’ve been learning Italian. My other half comes from Italy and I’d love to be able speak to his friends and family and get to know them then better.

GABRIELA | PAID AD MANAGER

What's something you do for the environment?

I’m trying to buy all fruit & veg from the local market to avoid plastic packaging.

What's your favourite eco-swap?

I love Cleaning Sachets - they save so much plastic & clean as good as regular cleaners. Plus they smell great - which is a nice change from the home-made vinegar based cleaners I’ve tried before!

What's your top eco tip?

Growing your own herbs – it cuts down on waste and you always have fresh leaves when you need them.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

I love cooking, so whenever I’ve got time I’m trying out new recipes – the weirder the better!

MEGAN | SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN

What's something you do for the environment?

I love making my own beeswax wraps – and I’ve taught others too!

What's your favourite eco-swap?

I adore natural skincare so it would have to be the reusable makeup remover pads. They’re such a fab eco-friendly alternative for those delicate eye areas!

What's your top eco tip(s)?

Something I’ve implemented in every house I’ve stayed in – use a bigger recycling bin but a smaller residual waste bin. It mentally tricks others around you into being more responsible about their waste!

Food waste is always a concern for me as I love fresh fruit and veg! I like to do ¼ cup of vinegar and 1 ½ cups of water in a bowl and soak berries in them for five minutes. Make sure they’re dry before you store them and they should last longer!

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

In my free time, I love going charity shop thrifting. I try to make it a point to not buy anything new – so most of my belongings are thrifted and given a second life (and lots of love!).

SHANNON | CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

What's something you do for the environment?

I recently made my own veg patch where I grow my own carrots, peppers, raspberries, strawberries and blackberries – it’s a really great way to avoid the nasty plastic that these fruits and veg normally come in from supermarket from.

What's your favourite eco-swap?

My favourite eco-swap is our reusable cotton tote bag, I use them all the time, whether it’s going to the shops, using it instead of bulky handbag or a day at the beach – I love them, guaranteed I always have a tote bag with me just in case.

What's your top eco tip?

Try to grow your own fruit and veg at home to avoid the nasty non-recyclable plastic from supermarkets. Don’t worry it’s super easy, once you get the hang of it you’ll always want to grow from home. Plus – My guinea pigs love some the fresh veg!

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Long walks around local lakes and parks with my Jackachi Pablo.

STACEY | MANAGING DIRECTOR

What's something you do for the environment?

I grow or refill my herbs and spices. It’s much cheaper and easy to do.

What's your favourite eco swap?

Fave eco swap are the shampoo bars from soul and soap and the conditioner bar. Both last longer than shampoo and conditioner that come in plastic bottles. Of EcoVibe products it would be the sponge. They leave no streaks when cleaning!

What's your top eco tip?

My top tip would be to start with one product you use the most e.g. shower gel. Then build up to complete a room or routine e.g. bathroom or laundry. Trying to do it all at once is just too much.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

In my free time I love yoga, going to gigs and hiking.
