What is the most environmentally friendly way to wash clothes?  

There are a number of things you can do to improve the sustainability of your laundry routine. First make sure your washing machine is energy efficient – sometimes upgrading can save you money in the long term. Make sure you wash less often, use cold water and avoid harmful chemicals.  

Which laundry detergent is most eco-friendly?  

When it comes to eco-friendly laundry detergent you do have a few options. At Ecovibe, we have laundry detergent strips and powder. How often should I wash clothes? 

Reducing how often you wash your clothes is one of the best ways to help the environment. You may be surprised how many times you can actually wear certain items before they need washing. Jeans, for example, don’t need washing very often at all – in fact some say they never need washing – however, if you can’t hack that maybe try washing them every few weeks. Most other items of clothing you should try to get at least 2 to 3 wears out of, except swimsuits which should be washed after every wear.
