Why we love it

This ultra sustainable toilet tissue is made from 100% natural bamboo. Not only is this better for the environment, but it’s better on our bums too! Bamboo fibres are longer and rounder, creating a naturally silky-smooth and strong tissue that’s super absorbent, and naturally less irritating than equivalent paper products.

In fact, its soft enough to use as face tissues too and strong enough to wipe down bathroom surfaces, which means you don’t need to buy lots of different products.

This toilet tissue is hypoallergenic, free from tissue dust, nasty fragrances and perfumes, pesticides, and chlorine content which means it’s perfect for those with sensitive skin. 

Why swap

Bamboo is the world’s fastest-growing plant and doesn’t need any nasty chemical fertilisers to grow. As it grows, bamboo absorbs up to 35% more carbon and produces 30% more oxygen than trees. The Cheeky Panda Company wanted to take it a step further by balancing their carbon too! They’re working with World Land Trust to protect and rebuild the Khe Nuoc Trong rainforest in Vietnam to offset all the carbon produced by manufacturing their toilet roll.

The Cheeky Panda Company are the first (and so far only) tissue brand in the UK to offer 100% FSC Certified products, which means the bamboo forests they use for protection have been independently audited and meet the FSC’s 10 Principles and Criteria for Forest Management.

Per sheet, the emissions generated by this bamboo toilet paper are 31% lower than recycled toilet tissue, and a massive 65.5% lower than non-recycled paper toilet tissue.
